Visa has tightened its popular Power Travel campaign with a new registration limit — from 12 October 2026, each person can register a maximum of 5 eligible Visa cards, a fair-usage change rather than a cut to the core benefits.
Offer Details
- Campaign continues until 31 January 2027
- Maximum reward cap remains ₹50,000 per eligible card
- Rewards are issued as Air India or Amazon Gift Cards
- Eligible overseas spends — including the ongoing Tap & Pay and education-fee bonuses from earlier extensions — continue under existing terms
- Registration and redemption still happen on the official Visa Power Travel website
Eligible Cards / Who Can Avail
- Any eligible Visa credit or debit card meeting the campaign criteria
- If you’d already registered more than 5 cards, you’ll need to prioritise which ones stay active
Benefits
- The headline earning potential is unchanged — accelerated rewards on qualifying overseas spends on top of your regular card points, with the ₹50k per-card ceiling still in place
- High spenders can still optimise across multiple cards within the new 5-card limit
How to Claim / Steps
- Log in to the Visa Power Travel website
- Register up to 5 eligible cards
- Make qualifying spends
- Redeem once transactions post (usually with a short delay)
Validity / Important Notes
- Limit is effective from 12 October 2026
- Rewards remain first-come, first-served within available categories
- We’ve covered stacking opportunities on this campaign before, including with Axis overseas milestones — worth a look if you’re planning a big spend
- Always cross-check the latest terms on the Visa site before large spends
If you have multiple Visa cards registered, sort out which 5 you want to keep active before your next big travel spend. Anyone affected by the new cap already?
