Stack Axis Overseas Milestones with Visa Power Travel for Up to ~25% Back

Axis is running a targeted monthly milestone on overseas spends that pays MakeMyTrip vouchers, and it can be stacked with the Visa Power Travel campaign (running through 31 January 2027) — on ₹4 lakh+ of eligible overseas spend, the combined stack is being estimated at roughly 25% back, before your card’s own rewards.

Offer Details

  • Axis pays up to ₹20,000 in MakeMyTrip vouchers every calendar month until 31 January 2027
  • 3 overseas in-store transactions: extra ₹2,000
  • ₹1 lakh+: ₹2,500 (about 4.5% blended on the published slabs)
  • ₹2 lakh+: ₹6,000 (about 4%)
  • ₹4 lakh+: ₹18,000 (about 5%)
  • Visa Power Travel Tap & Pay is being quoted at 10.5%, plus a ₹10,000 Jetsetter milestone per qualifying card
  • On ₹4 lakh+ of eligible overseas spend, the stack is being estimated at roughly 25% plus regular card rewards, before forex markup

Eligible Cards / Who Can Avail

  • Axis offer is targeted — only retail Axis credit cardholders who received bank communication can join
  • Registration is a missed call to 9152972125 from your registered mobile; it covers all your Axis credit cards but doesn’t override the targeted check
  • Participation starts from the calendar month you register, including eligible spends already done that month
  • Axis counts add-on spends toward the primary milestone; Visa Tap & Pay and Jetsetter are tracked per card, so a primary plus add-ons can be split (e.g. ₹1 lakh+ on each) if each card qualifies separately
  • Premium Visa options called out for the stack include Magnus Visa, Reserve, Burgundy Private and Olympus Visa; Atlas earns well on eligible spends with 1:2 partners but forex markup is high

Benefits

  • Monthly, not one-time — the window runs through January 2027
  • Visa Power Travel is reported with no category exclusions; Axis does exclude several MCCs

How to Claim / Steps

  • Confirm you received the Axis communication, then give the missed call from your registered number
  • Register separately on the Visa Power Travel site
  • Prefer in-store overseas Tap & Pay where the Visa offer applies
  • Keep spends inside eligible MCCs

Validity / Important Notes

  • Axis exclusions include education, government, gold and jewellery, insurance, rent, wallet, gaming, subscriptions, software stores, advertisement, charity, fund transfer and some miscellaneous MCCs
  • Forex markup still applies, so net value depends on the card — check both sets of terms before a large trip

If you’re travelling this quarter and hold an eligible Axis Visa, register before the next statement cycle so this month’s spends count. Anyone tried stacking both legs on the same trip yet?
