RuPay or Visa: Which is Better?

I’m planning an international trip and need a zero forex card. I have the option to choose between Visa or RuPay. While RuPay could be handy for UPI transactions after my trip, I’m thinking Visa might have broader acceptance in the US. Has anyone used either of these cards for international travel? Any advice on which might be better?
