Revisions to HDFC Bank Credit Card Loyalty Program Effective September 1st, 2024

HDFC Bank has introduced some new changes for its credit cards, which will start being implemented on 1st September, while some will come into effect on 1st October. The changes are applicable to credits cards like Tata Neu, Regalia and Infinia Credit Cards. Infinia cardholders will face some restrictions and limitations on their credit card rewards redemption as well.

  1. Maximum 2000 reward points per month on Utility spends. Telecom & cable transactions will have a separate limit of 2000 reward points per month.

  2. Education payments made through third-party apps shall no longer accrue Reward Points. Education payments made at POS machines or on the school/college website shall continue to earn Reward Points.

Restriction on reward points redemption for Infinia Credit Cards from 1st October 2024:

  1. On the HDFC Bank SmartBuy portal, redemption of reward points for Apple products shall now be capped at one product each quarter.
  2. On the HDFC Bank SmartBuy portal, reward point redemption for Tanishq vouchers is capped at 50,000 Reward Points per quarter.
