My credit card bill was due on September 2nd, but I only paid it on September 4th. I heard that the RBI allows a 2-day grace period. Will I be charged a late fee for this delay? Can anyone clarify?
@Anupama If your bank confirmed that they received the payment on September 4th, you should not incur any late fees. The RBI’s grace period for credit card payments is actually 3 working days, not 2. As long as your payment was received within this period, you should be fine.
