IndusInd Bank is revising several credit card charges effective 15 June 2026, and some of these changes could impact frequent spenders significantly.
Key Changes:
• Late Payment Charges revised across card variants
• Fuel Transactions
- 1% fee + GST on cumulative fuel spends above ₹30,000 / ₹50,000 (depending on card variant)
• Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC)
- 1% or 2% mark-up fee + GST (depending on card variant)
• Transport Transactions (excluding Air MCCs)
- 1% fee + GST on cumulative spends above ₹40,000
- Air-related MCCs (4111, 4112, 4784, 4131) excluded
Why It Matters
Fuel, transport, and international spends are categories where many cardholders expect minimal friction. These new thresholds and fees mean high-spending users may need to keep a closer eye on monthly spending patterns.
If you hold an IndusInd card, it may be worth reviewing the updated schedule and checking whether these changes affect your regular spending habits.
