In a bold move to revamp its loyalty offerings, IndiGo has launched the BluChip program—a modern, flexible points system—and partnered with Kotak Mahindra Bank to relaunch its co-branded credit cards in June 2025.
This update isn’t just cosmetic. The IndiGo Kotak and Kotak XL credit cards now fully integrate with BluChip, letting users earn rewards not only on flights but also on UPI, dining, and entertainment spends. Think dynamic rewards, milestone perks, and tiered loyalty—all with the ease of a swipe (or scan).
Ready to convert your travel bookings and daily spends into free flights? This may be your boarding pass.
What’s Changed?
- Transitioned from the old 6E Rewards to the BluChip program, which now spans all bookings, add-ons, and even third-party platforms.
- Cards issued on Visa and RuPay, now support UPI with BluChip earning on QR transactions.

BluChip Loyalty Highlights
- Earn 8 BluChips/₹100 on base fare, plus up to 13 more via tier, card promo, booking channel — max 21/₹100
- Rewards are dynamic (₹0.40–₹0.60 value) and never expire if you’re active
- Milestone bonuses: XL cardholders get vouchers at ₹1.5L, ₹4L, ₹7.5L, ₹12L spends; regular card at ₹1.25L, ₹2.5L, ₹6L.
These revamped cards are clearly targeted at frequent IndiGo flyers—especially those wanting to consolidate flight, dining, and UPI spends into a unified BluChip reward scheme. The XL card delivers strong value for heavy travelers, with lounge access and enhanced earning tiers. The standard card, with its lower fee, is good for moderate flyers.
But tech hiccups and customer support lag are red flags—especially if you plan to redeem rewards smoothly.
