Indigo’s BluChip loyalty program is set to launch soon! Here’s what you need to know about earning and burning BluChips:
Earning BluChips:
- Earn 8 BluChips for every ₹100 spent, regardless of the booking channel. Members in the Blu 1 tier earn an additional 4 BluChips, while those in the Blu 2 tier earn 2 extra BluChips.
- For bookings made through the Indigo website or app, you can earn an additional 4 BluChips for every ₹100 spent.
- Retroclaims for earning BluChips are valid for up to 90 days from the date of travel.
Burning BluChips:
- BluChips can be redeemed for IndiGo flights (both economy and stretch).
- There are no blackout dates, and BluChips can be redeemed up to the last available seat.
- Members can redeem BluChips for themselves or add up to 5 nominees.
- A minimum of 500 IndiGo BluChips is required to start redeeming.
- Note that special fares, discount coupons, co-brand ticket vouchers, and other offers cannot be combined with IndiGo BluChips.
- The value per point is currently unclear, but it may be around ₹1 per point.
- Redemption is only valid for one-way trips on 6E Flights. Return trips, round trips, and multi-city trips are not eligible for redemption on 6E Flights.

Validity of BluChips:
- BluChips are valid for 24 months from the date they are credited to the member’s account. They can be extended for an additional month with eligible accrual or redemption activity on IndiGo or any Program Partner.
