- Effective Date: September 2024
- Minimum Amount Due: IDFC FIRST Bank will lower the minimum amount due on credit cards.
- Payment Due Date: The payment due date will be shortened from 18 to 15 days. These changes aim to promote better financial discipline among cardholders.
RuPay Credit Card on UPI: Equal Rewards
- Effective Date: September 1, 2024
- Reward Parity: Customers using RuPay credit cards on UPI and other platforms will now earn the same reward points as those using credit cards from other payment service providers. The NPCI has mandated this to ensure parity in rewards and benefits for RuPay cardholders.
