What is the Global Value Program?
HDFC Bank’s GVP allows almost all its retail credit cardholders to earn rewards and get deals on international spends. To participate, you’ll need to register for the program by paying a ₹199 joining/renewal fee (excluding taxes). Membership renews automatically every year.
Key Features & Benefits
1. Annual Fee: ₹199 + GST
2. Activation Benefit:
- Get 500 bonus Reward Points on your first international transaction after registering.
- This is a one-time benefit, available only in the first year.
3. Cashback:
- Earn 1% cashback on all international spends.
- Maximum cashback of ₹1,000 per statement cycle.
4. Milestone Benefit:
- Spend ₹1,50,000 or more internationally and receive a ₹2,000 voucher for Yatra/MakeMyTrip/ClearTrip/EaseMyTrip.
- This milestone benefit is applicable only once a year.
5. Program Validity: Valid until 4th April 2030.
How to Avail the Offer?
You can activate the GVP by contacting HDFC Bank customer care and requesting activation. The offer will be live on your card within 5 business days, and you’ll receive confirmation via SMS/email.
Alternatively, you can also activate the offer by mail.
Eligible Cards
This program can be activated on all HDFC retail and business credit cards, including BizPower/BizBlack, but not on corporate or commercial cards.
Terms & Conditions
- Exclusions: Transactions like cash withdrawals, balance transfers, or cash on-call are not eligible for rewards.
- Spending Criteria: For milestone benefits, spends on multiple HDFC cards cannot be combined.
- Renewal: The program renews automatically each year, and you need to call HDFC Bank if you wish to cancel it.
- Merchant Discretion: HDFC Bank can exclude any merchant/cardholder from the program at its discretion without notice.
- Indian Residents Only: This offer is only available to Indian residents and citizens holding HDFC Bank Credit Cards.
