Bank of Baroda has updated its airport lounge access rules for credit card holders, effective January 1, 2025. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the latest changes:
New Lounge Access Criteria:
- ₹40,000 Spend Requirement:
- Eterna
- Eterna - FD
- Tiara
- Varunah Premium
- ICAI Exclusive
- ICMAI One
- ICSI Diamond
- ₹20,000 Spend Requirement:
- Varunah Plus
- The Sentinel
- Rakshamah
- Yoddha
- Corporate
- Premier
- Premier-FD
- HPCL Energie
Waiver for New Cards:
- For newly issued cards, the minimum spend requirement for lounge access is waived for the calendar quarter of issuance.
- Note: This relaxation is only applicable to fresh cards issued during the quarter, not for upgrades from one product to another.
Other Key Changes:
1. Golf Benefits Discontinued:
- Eterna, Eterna FD, Yoddha, The Sentinel, and Rakshamah cards will no longer offer golf benefits.
2. No Core Reward Points for Wallet Load Transactions:
- Core reward points will not be awarded for wallet loading.
3. Processing Fees:
- A 1% processing fee will apply on wallet loading transactions, utility payments (above ₹50K), and fuel transactions (above ₹10K).
4. Unlimited Reward Points for UPI Transactions:
- The bank has removed the cap of 500 reward points per statement cycle on UPI transactions.
Airport Lounges Access:
Bank of Baroda credit card holders can access lounges at 65 domestic and international airports.
