If you hold the Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card, there are important changes to cashback benefits and lounge access coming soon.
According to the official notice from Axis Bank, the revised terms will apply from April 12, 2026.
Cashback Changes
Airtel Payments (Still 25% Cashback — But Now Capped)
You will continue to earn:
- 25% cashback on Airtel Mobile, Broadband, and DTH payments via the Airtel Thanks App.
However, a new cap has been introduced:
- Maximum cashback from Airtel spends: ₹500 per statement month
Other Utility Payments (10% Cashback — New Cap)
For other utility payments through Airtel Thanks App:
- 10% cashback continues
- Now capped at ₹250 per statement month
Partner Cashback Change
Earlier benefit:
- 10% cashback on Swiggy, Zomato, and BigBasket
New benefit:
- Replaced with 10% value back on:
- Zomato
- Blinkit
- District by Zomato
Important points:
- Value back credited to partner wallets
- Maximum ₹200 per partner per month
- Minimum order value: ₹499 on Zomato & Blinkit
- Not valid on wallet loads or gift card purchases
Lounge Access Removed
One major downgrade:
- 4 complimentary domestic airport lounge visits will be discontinued
This means the card will no longer offer free domestic lounge access.

Cashback Credit Timeline
Cashback will continue to follow the existing 60-day credit cycle.
The revised capping logic will appear in statements generated after June 12, 2026.
