Axis Bank EDGE Rewards / EDGE Miles Devaluation — Full Breakdown

Axis Bank has revised its Travel Edge partner list and transfer ratios. Here’s what changed:

1. Accor is back — but gutted
ALL rejoins the partner list, now at 5:2 (Reward Points) / 2:1 (Miles) — down from the 5:4 / 1:2 most cardholders were used to. Back on the list, worth roughly half to a quarter as much per transfer.

2. ITC Hotels dropped
No longer a Travel Edge partner.

3. Group B → Group A move

  • Flying Blue
  • Qantas Frequent Flyer
  • Air India Maharaja Club

These now sit under the tighter Group A annual cap instead of the more generous Group B one — check your annual transfer math if you lean on any of these three.

4. Three new partners

  • Cathay Pacific Asia Miles — Group A, 5:2 / 2:1
  • Lufthansa Miles & More — Group B, 5:4 / 1:2
  • Hilton Honors — Group B, 5:4 / 1:2

5. Burgundy Private is the exception
Flat 5:4 to every partner, Accor included — untouched by this round.

Bottom line: unless you’re on Burgundy Private, this is a devaluation wearing a “good news” headline. Accor coming back grabs attention, but 5:2/2:1 is a fraction of the old rate, and losing ITC Hotels plus the Group A reshuffle for Flying Blue/Qantas/Air India tightens the annual cap for a lot of cardholders.
