After months of speculation around IndiGo’s loyalty ecosystem, Axis Bank has officially enabled transfers to IndiGo BluChip, giving cardholders a new way to convert their rewards into flight rewards.
To kick things off, Axis Bank is offering promotional transfer ratios for the first two months starting 18 June 2026, with some premium cardholders getting significantly better conversion rates than others.
What’s New?
Axis Bank cardholders can now transfer EDGE REWARD Points and EDGE Miles to IndiGo BluChip Miles.
The catch? Your conversion ratio depends entirely on the card sitting in your wallet.

Why This Matters
IndiGo’s loyalty programme is finally entering the bank transfer ecosystem
Until now, IndiGo BluChip has largely operated within its own ecosystem. Bank point transfers open up an entirely new route for members to accumulate miles without flying.
Atlas cardholders get another redemption option
Atlas users now have one more airline partner to evaluate alongside existing transfer options, potentially increasing flexibility for domestic travel redemptions.
Not all transfer ratios are created equal
The gap between premium and mass-market cards is substantial. A Burgundy customer transferring at 5:4 is getting a dramatically better deal than a cardholders.
The Real Question
The transfer option is new, but the real value depends on how IndiGo prices award flights and how BluChip miles compare against established airline loyalty programs.
For some cardholders, this could become a useful domestic travel redemption route.
For others, existing airline partners may still offer significantly better value.
