Pay Joining Fee for Unused SBI Card?

Hi all,
I’ve received my SBI Pulse Credit Card but haven’t activated or used it yet. The bank has generated a statement with the joining fee. Do I still need to pay this fee if I decide not to use the card?

@akshith90 Yes, you need to pay the joining fee to avoid it being marked as a default on your CIBIL report. If you decide not to use or activate the card, you can request a refund after making the payment.
